Simran Tinani

Simran is a PhD student at the University of Zurich working in the Applied Algebra group headed by Professor Joachim Rosenthal. Since September 2021, she is also a Doctoral Fellow at the Cyber Defence Campus (CYD) of the armasuisse. Her research focus is on mathematical aspects of cryptography, in particular on the potential role of non-commutative groups in public key systems. Starting 2022 she is the coordinator of the Cybersecurity Community.
