Julia-Silvana Hofstetter

Julia-Silvana Hofstetter is a Technology & Human Rights Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School. She is also Senior Advisor at the ICT4Peace Foundation, Non-Resident Research Fellow within the AI Security Initiative at UC Berkeley’s Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity (CLTC), Peace and Security Fellow at foraus – Swiss Forum on Foreign Policy, and the Founder and President of Women in International Security (WIIS) Switzerland and Co-Founder of the UNIDIR-WIIS CoLab Geneva. She currently serves as a member of Chatham House’s Advisory Group on Gender and Cybersecurity. As an independent consultant she previously advised organizations such as the ICRC, NATO, and the US Department of State on issues of international security and emerging technologies. Julia holds a Master’s in International Relations and Political Science from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) Geneva and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Zurich.
