Alexandra Lengert

Alexandra is a Fast Track student at the University of Zurich (UZH), where she works under the supervision of Prof. Ivan De Oliveira Nunes from the Department of Informatics (IfI). She joined Prof. Nunes’ research team in 2024 as a PhD student while he was still at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

The focus of the PhD was on Computing and Information Science. Prior to this, Alexandra completed a Master of Science in Cybercrime and Cybersecurity (2024) and a Bachelor of Science in General and Digital Forensics (2021) at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences (HSMW).

She first connected with Prof. Nunes during a research internship in the summer of 2023, where she focused on the protection of private information. Her current project is centers on security of microcontroller units (MCUs) in Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
