We exist to form, create, support and promote the interdisciplinary multi stakeholder dialogue we deem necessary for cybersecurity.
The DSI Community Cybersecurity is an integral part of the DSI network of the University of Zurich dedicated to exploring and understanding cybersecurity. Our community formed out of a group of cybersecurity interested researchers located at different faculties of the University of Zurich. The key to impactful cybersecurity research is interdisciplinarity. To get there we connect, connect, connect.

Collaborating across occupational borders is our strength. Members of our community have different professional backgrounds and international profiles. Our member base equally represents experienced professionals as well as a new generation of young researchers. Moreover, a considerable number of our members are women.

Here you can find out what we are focusing on: Projects from our community or individual members. We research technical as well as non-technical aspects of cybersecurity. Some of our research areas include, for example, cyber-defense and cyber norms, trust and cooperation in cybersecurity, cryptographic protocols, secure systems, cybersecurity and economics, blockchain technology, social engineering.
